Peak Protection 2010 Description

Peak Protection 2010 is a rogue security application that is spread by Trojans and promoted on fake security alerts. On entering a machine, Peak Protection 2010 aka PeakProtection2010 will display bogus security warnings, pop-ups and scan reports to convince a victim that his/her system in infested with malware. Then Peak Protection 2010 will prompt the victim to purchase its full version in order to remove all the detected malware threats. This is all a scam and users should never waste their money purchasing Peak Protection 2010.

    I fell for the trap on my laptop and restored to an ealier date. Well now everytime my laptop boots up it says it can’t find hotfix.exe and now I’m locked out of my screen. I have the Vista disk but can’t reformat or anything. Is this something I can fix on my own? Thanks for any help.
