The OptiShopper browser application is developed by adware developers that promote it is a tool for online shoppers that search for the cheapest products online. The OptiShopper adware can be downloaded from its official website, but in most cases, computer users automatically install it when they handle a freeware installer via the 'Express' or 'Typical' option. The official website of OptiShopper is registered with the IP address 162.210.192.5 that is used in relation with another adware named dubbed Multiplug, and it could be suggested that they are developed by one team. Also, the OptiShopper adware and Multiplug have many similarities in functionality. Both use a Browser Helper Object, an add-on, and a browser extension to facilitate the display of many pop-up ads, banners, and ad boxes. In addition, the OptiShopper adware may use geo-IP localization to determine what ads may attract your attention the most. However, the OptiShopper adware might use your browsing history as well in order to maximize the relevance of the displayed promotional materials. You might be interested to know that the OptiShopper adware may use JavaScript to direct you to affiliate online resources that may not be safe.
