MyPcSecure Image

MyPcSecure is a fake anti-spyware program that secretly enters victims' systems and creates a start-up entry in the Windows registry. Once inside a system, MyPcSecure will run bogus system scans and display pop-up windows or virus alerts in an attempt to trick users into purchasing its "full version". MyPcSecure is unable to detect or exterminate any type of computer malware therefore all notifications displayed by MyPcSecure should not be trusted.

MyPcSecure is a member of the FakeSmoke family, is distributed by Trojans that can enter PC's via security holes, and it is a clone of rogueware such as WiniFighter, WiniShield, SaveKeep, SaveKeeper, SoftSafeness, TrustWarrior, WiniGuard, SecurityFighter, Security Soldier, SecureVeteran, Secure Warrior, Trust Cop, Safe Fighter, Trust Soldier, Virus Protector, BlockDefense, Security Soldier, TrustNinja, SaveDefense, SystemCop.
