MovieJackpot is an aggressive adware extension that may be installed on your computer without your knowledge. This may happen because MovieJackpot may use deceptive marketing and distribution tricks whose purpose is to mislead users and convince them to install the MovieJackpot extension without revealing its true purpose. MovieJackpot may be advertised as a useful program that allows users to watch hundreds of free online movies directly from their Web browser. The promotional campaigns associated with MovieJackpot also may claim that the movies will come in HD quality, but all of these claims are fake. MovieJackpot will not provide you with HD free-to-watch movies and, in fact, it will not allow you to watch any movies at all.
The only thing that MovieJackpot's installation may bring to your Web browser is a large number of unwanted advertisements that may keep appearing all over the Web pages you open. The advertising techniques that MovieJackpot may use may reduce your Web browser performance and expose you to pop-ups, banners, sponsored search results, audio ads, and other marketing content that may be associated with the promotion of questionable products, services and websites. The MovieJackpot extension may often be offered to users who happen to download freeware and shareware programs that are bundled with 3rd-party applications. If you see an offer to install MovieJackpot when you install a free application, you should remember to decline the offer and keep the 'MovieJackpot Ads' away from your Web browser. If the damage has been done and MovieJackpot is installed on your computer, then you should consider removing the adware with the assistance of a reputable anti-malware application.
