While browsing the Internet, computer users may be interrupted by a pop-up window that replaces the Web page they are visiting. This pop-up will state that Chicago users may win an iPhone 6, a $1000 Gas Card or a $1000 Shopping Spree and ask them to answer 5 questions. This pop-up window and numerous advertisements will be displayed on an affected computer and linked to a browser hijacker that could have found its way to their machines via spam email attachments, corrupted links or bundled with third parties freeware. Browser hijackers may cover arbitrary Web pages the computer users are visiting with tons of advertisements, may use their system resources which may slow down the machine's performance, collect browsing information and more. When installed on a machine, Menpartner.xyz may create various problems that will disrupt the computer user's activities. These problems may include hijacking your Web browser (browser hijackers may attack Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox) and changing your browser settings and redirecting it to potentially compromised Web pages. Menpartner.xyz's advertisements, when clicked, may lead to potentially unsafe websites or cause the installation of additional adware and PUPs.
