McAVG
McAVG (McAVG 2011) is known to be a fake security program. McAVG usually mimics the actions of well-known antivirus applications which are able to detect and remove computer parasites. McAVG, on the other hand, is completely unable to detect and remove legitimate parasites including spyware, Trojans, viruses and malware. McAVG was programmed by hackers who use aggressive techniques to extort money from gullible computer users. This task usually takes place after the installation of McAVG where it will display numerous messages attempting to warn the computer user of a parasite detected. Any type of warning message or scan result from McAVG is actually fake and should not be taken for face value.
Computer users should know that McAVG does not have the ability to detect and remove computer parasites. McAVG was primarily created for the purpose of money extortion. By purchasing McAVG, a computer user may relinquish credit card information putting it in the hands of a cybercrook. Computer users who may run across McAVG are strongly suggested to remove McAVG at once. A trusted spyware removal application may also be used to ensure McAVG is safely removed without causing system damage.
