JS_WEBSTART.A

JS_WEBSTART.A is a malicious JavaScript file that exploits a Java Web Start Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows attackers to run commands on the infected computer via a Java Archive (.JAR) file, without the use of the user name or password. JS_WEBSTART.A is typically hosted on a malicious website which automatically downloads the JavaScript when visited by users. JS_WEBSTART.A may also download other malicious files onto a compromised PC therefore it should be removed immediately after detection.
