InboxAce DescriptionInboxAce is a browser hijacker, which is promoted via other free software downloads (PDF creators, download-managers or video recording/streaming) that had packed into their installation InboxAce. While being installed on a vulnerable computer, InboxAce will embed the InboxAce Toolbar, and modify the default homepage and default search engine to Mywebsearch.com. InboxAce will show unwanted pop-up ads and sponsored links in search results of any genuine search engine, and may grab search phrases from a victimized computer user's search queries. The InboxAce Toolbar is used by cybercriminals to increase website traffic by using blackhat SEO and make a profit form the pay-per-click technique. InboxAce is also classified as a PUP, potentially unwanted program. InboxAce is also packaged within the custom installer on many download websites, such as CNET, Brothersoft or Softonic, so if the Internet user has downloaded a program from these websites, InboxAce might have been installed throughout the process of the program setup
