Fake Windows Security Center pretends to be the legitimate Windows Security Center in order to be taken seriously. Fake Windows Security Center typically uses such rogue anti-spyware applications as QuickHealCleaner, SaveDefense, TrustNinja, BlockDefense, SystemCop and SaveKeep in order to intimidate the user into believing that the computer has been compromised. The user is then prompted to purchase one of these fake spyware removers in order to combat the imaginary threats.
