Explorer.zip Description

Explorer.zip is a dangerous process that is able to delete Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the infected computer system. Explorer.zip can also randomly change other types of files. Explorer.zip is distributed by scammers via unsolicited email messages that seem to be sent from people a recipient knows. The fake message carries a malevolent file that, if run, illustrates a bogus error message. Explorer.zip watches the inbox of the targeted PC and then sends automatic replies to senders, using the same email subject as the original message.
