EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

The Euro-search.net website is presented to Web surfers as a search engine that lacks any distinguishable features except for its logo and abundance of advertisements. The Euro-search.net site is registered on the 109.236.87.241 IP address, and it was reported for browser hijacking. As it turns out, the search service at Euro-search.net is identical to those at Powerfulsearch.net, Searchmaster.net, Happysearch.org and Greatsearch.org. The front page for these sites may be different, but they are registered to the same IP address and present search results identically. Web surfers are lead to a clean white page with a single search bar at the top and a minimum of ten sponsored search results that are on top every other search result. A closer look at Euro-search.net revealed its owner loads ads via the Google AdWords platform and earns a decent profit.
According to data on statistics at Hypestat.com, the Euro-search.net site received 850 unique visits per day and made 630 USD a month. Some may see it as a decent revenue given that Euro-search.net does not offer search scopes like Google, there are no video results as in Bing, and you can't sort results by time frame as in Yahoo. The Euro-search.net search service does not compare too well with less popular engines like DuckDuckGo and IxQuick, considering that it lacks end-to-end encryption and third parties can alter the data packets you exchange with Euro-search.net, which may allow for Man-in-the-Middle attacks. Cyber security experts do not recommend users set Euro-search.net as their primary search provider. However, we are aware that there are free programs online that might make modifications to your browser settings and force you to load Euro-search.net as a homepage, new tab and search service by default. Programs that alter your Internet settings and force you to load particular pages are classified as browser hijackers and should be removed with a credible security scanner. You might be able to delete the files of the Euro-search.net browser hijacker but it may rebuild itself on the next system boot, and the changes it makes may persist.
