Eco Antivirus 2010

Eco Antivirus 2010, also known as Eco Antivirus, is a fake security application and is a variant of Green AV. Rogue makers are tapping into the "being green" craze to lure eco-friendly computer users by bringing in the first antivirus program that puts an emphasis on saving the eco-system, hence the creation of the rogue anti-spyware program called Eco Antivirus. With Eco Antivirus' Environmental Care Program, the makers show how much they care about our Earth by sending $2 dollars from every Eco Antivirus sale to rescuing the forests in the Amazonia. Finally! Rogue makers and distributors are using their ability to poison the Web and inject malicious programs onto users' computers to help the environment (hint: sarcasm).

Eco Antivirus may enter a computer system with the use of Trojans found on fake video codecs, hijacker websites, or malware-based advertisements. Trojans are known to exploit security vulnerabilities and to secretly install on a computer.
Once Eco Antivirus 2010 has infected a computer, a fake system scan is conducted which will alert the user that the computer is infected with several viruses. The scan report displayed by Eco Antivirus 2010 is fabricated. Eco Antivirus 2010 will persist to annoy and frighten the computer user with warning messages that will pop up periodically until the user is forced to purchase the program. If the victimized computer user clicks on the fake warning message, he/she will be redirected to the website eco-av(dot)com to follow the steps to purchase the full version of Eco Antivirus 2010. Eco Antivirus 2010 is not capable of detecting or removing any malicious parasites, or saving the environment for that matter. It is suggested that once Eco Antivirus 2010 is detect on the computer that it be removed at once before it plagues you with additional malware complications.
