Click System – A Dangerous Toolbar Associated with Malicious Websites
Click System is a dangerous toolbar that is actually a thinly-disguised Trojan infection. Once installed, Click System will hijack your Internet browser and coerce it to visit websites belonging to a large network of fake search engines and websites containing malware or unsafe content. The main website for the Click System scam features a bright blue background and promises to 'buy all kinds of web traffic', which is somewhat of a nonsensical statement. If you have had any contact with websites associated with Click System or are experiencing redirects to any of the websites associated with Click System, ESG malware researchers strongly advise that you use a legitimate anti-malware program to remove Click System at once. Click System is impossible to remove through normal means and will remain on your computer system until you take steps not only to delete this malicious toolbar but also to remove all of its harmful Registry modifications and changes that Crehtynet.com makes to your system settings. Do not become a victim of Click System! This is a dangerous browser hijacker that should be dealt with at once.
Malicious Websites and Symptoms Associated with the Click System Scam
If your computer system is infected with Click System and its associated malware, you will experience redirects to any of the following websites: bestofthebestsearchsystem.com, clicksystemtoolbar.com, clicksystemsion.com, customizeprivacy.com, wtfwtfwtfred.com, crehtynet.com, efficiency01.com, dunamicsystem.com, mediashifting.com, fgsagagacsa.com, poiskwebdll.com, rg45clickmaster.com, mesearchsystem.com, verificationoftheproduct.com or upgreidclickhosting.com. New websites to Click System's malicious networks of fake search engines are added every day. With this in mind, ESG security researchers strongly advise maintaining your anti-malware software fully updated, downloading updates directly from the manufacturer as soon as they are released. Usually a computer infected with the Click System browser hijacker is affected by having its online searches altered. This is because the Click System infection uses a version of the Google Redirect Virus. This is a particular Trojan infection that can change the outcome on any searches executed on Google, Yahoo and other legitimate search engines. While the results of any search will appear legitimate, this dangerous browser hijacker will silently alter the links in the most popular results. Clicking on these altered links will take the victim to any of the websites listed above. These websites will often pretend to be legitimate search engines, making the scam more effective against inexperienced computer users, who may simply repeat their search on Click System's fake search engine.
