EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

Computer users that spent most of their time on video sharing platforms like YoutTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion may be interested in installing the Bright Light browser plug-in that claims to provide users with near-cinema experience. The Bright Light browser plugin does not have an official page and may be squared via free software bundles only. The lack of Internet representation of an application like Bright Light may be perceived as a red flag by many users. They would be right to doubt the usefulness of the Bright Light application because it is adware. Security investigators report that the Bright Light adware is dedicated to generating affiliate marketing revenue for its developers and may cause your browser to crash and display pages improperly. Moreover, the Bright Light adware may obstruct users from loading 480p and HD videos on the Internet to promote badware like MaxPerforma Optimizer and Optimizer Pro Speed Guard.
The Bright Light adware might affect Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox, and record your search keywords on Google, Yahoo and Bing. Security investigators reveal that the Bright Light adware does not encrypt its communications to the Internet and may provide corrupted advertisements and redirect users to harmful domains. The ads by Bright Light may appear as pop-up and pop-under windows when browsing products on Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon. Also, the Bright Light adware may read the Meta tags of pages you visit and detect your approximate geographical location to inject personalized commercials on non-affiliated pages. The Bright Light adware may work in the background of your Windows OS, and you need to use a trustworthy anti-malware utility to find and eliminate its components safely.
