The BoxyAide binary is classified by security experts as adware that functions as a marketing engine that generates pay-per-click revenue for its developers by displaying ads in the Internet client of infected PCs. The BoxyAide adware can arrive on your machine as an additional component of a freeware setup file that most users handle via the 'Express' or the Typical' option. You should note that the BoxyAide adware may use a background service to track your clicks around the web by using DOM storage data and tracking cookies. Also, the BoxyAide adware may substitute the native ads on your preferred webs sites and feature links to potentially harmful domains. The ads by BoxyAide may appear as banners, ad boxes loaded with coupons, discounts and you may be presented with pop-up and pop-under windows. Additionally, the BoxyAide adware may insert a key in the Windows Registry to launch with your web browser and execute its operations. Therefore, the BoxyAide adware may slow down your web browser and increase the loading time for pages to appear on your screen. Computer users may want to consider using a reliable anti-malware tool to remove the BoxyAide adware from their system.
