The AutoTinker browser plug-in may be offered to you as a tool to automate some of your routine actions on the Internet, but its primary goal is to push commercials on your screen. The AutoTinker adware may connect to the Internet via unencrypted channels and exchange data about your computer configuration with advertisers that can be easily intercepted by third-parties. Needless to say, the AutoTinker adware could be used as an attack vector to attack your OS and cause damages. Security investigators remind users that the ads brought by AutoTinker are not deemed as safe and may be corrupted. The AutoTinker adware may use pop-up windows and transitional full-page as to welcome users to install software like Windows PC Aid and Guard Online to earn pay-per-click revenue. However, the applications mentioned before are rogue software that you will not benefit from and may lose money buying unneeded premium licenses. The AutoTinker adware may place its files in the hidden ProgramData folder and may not appear on the 'Programs and Features' panel of Windows. That may obstruct users from manually removing the AutoTinker adware and all of its components.
