The developers of parasites, which the main purpose is not to help computer users but its creators always try to name their creations with appealing or useful names. This is the case with Always Weather, an adware-laced program developed by alwaysweather.net that may display pop-up advertisements that will pop-up on your screen whether you are interested in it or not. The Always Weather is advertised as an app that 'Automatically locates and display your current weather, hourly and 5 day forecast.' It also informs that 'The app icon will automatically update to your current temperature' and has a control that, if clicked, will add the Always Weather to Chrome.
When the computer users download and install free apps from the Web, they may not pay attention to the offer to include another program to the download and end up allowing the installation of adware, PUPs and browser hijacker. This is how some computer users may acquire the Always Weather. The Always Weather is not unsafe, but it can create some situations that may make the affected computer user want to delete it. The Always Weather may track or redirect your search inquiries, turn random texts into hyperlinks, change your default search engine and homepage, flood visited Web pages with banner advertisements, indicate fake software or updates and this may disrupt the computer user activities greatly.
