AlgoChord is a Possibly Unwanted program developed by Algochord Ltd. AlgoChord, or Ads by AlgoChord, is advertised as a tool that allows computer users to share data on varied social network websites such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. These features may be helpful, but since AlgoChord is an adware program, AlgoChord may not be worth all the problems AlgoChord may cause to an affected machine. AlgoChord may be installed stealthily as part of the installation process of a free third party software. Once inside the computer, AlgoChord starts displaying banners, pop-ups, pop-unders, in-text and other kinds of advertisements. These advertisements may be highly obtrusive and displayed on random Web pages visited by the computer user. AlgoChord also consumes system resources and records the computer user's browsing preferences. To get a safe browsing experience back, computer users should uninstall AlgoChord from their machines with a malware removal application.
