Albrechto is an adware that may cover a screen of a computer system with a variety of unwanted pop-up advertisements and messages while the PC user is surfing the Internet. Albrechto may be installed on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. When Albrechto invades the PC, it may display annoying pop-up advertisements while the PC user is visiting online shopping and other websites. If the web user clicks on any random pop-up advertisements and messages, he may get rerouted to deceitful commercial websites. The main aim of Albrechto may be to boost traffic of doubtful commercial websites and make money from the pay-per-click technique. Albrechto may infiltrate into the PC packaged with other freeware. Computer users may evade this if they are attentive enough while installing other free tools and unchecking all options to install additional unidentified software. However, many web users may often skip the steps of installation because of a rush. Albrechto may grab information about the PC user's surfing activity. Albrechto may then transmit this data to the third parties and use it for a variety of targeted marketing campaigns.
