The AdZap binary is deemed as adware by security researchers because it functions as an advertising engine. The AdZap adware can inject ads in your web browser through an add-on, a Browser Helper Object, and a browser extension. The AdZap adware can be found accompanying free application installers under the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option. Ads by AdZap can take the form of pop-ups, contextual and transitional ads, and banners.
