Advanced Virus Protection Description

Advanced Virus Protection is a rogue anti-spyware program that spreads via Trojans. Once Advanced Virus Protection is inside a PC it will simulate a fake system scan that will claim that the system is infected with dangerous malware. Advanced Virus Protection may also display bogus security alerts and pop-ups that will further alarm a victim and coerce him/her into purchasing the “licensed version” of Advanced Virus Protection as a remedy. Advanced Virus Protection is an illegitimate program that should never be purchased.
