Active Antivir Description

Active Antivir is a rogue anti-spyware application (also known as ActiveAntivir or Active Antivirus) and has been known to promote itself through trojans or browser hijacking techniques. Affiliated trojans typically penetrate security via exploits in the software, allowing Active Antivir to be installed onto a system without user knowledge or permission. Once active, Active Antivir displays fictitious and sometimes grossly exaggerated infection reports and pop-up advertisements, stating that the computer is infected. The user is then prompted to purchase and download the fake spyware remover Active Antivir to combat these threats. Do not be fooled. Remove Active Antivir as soon as possible.
