855-972-3537 is a number used by a dubious website, support-tech-group.com, to which computer users need to call after being informed that their computers are dangerously infected. The hoax starts with a fake alert that appears on the computer user's screen stating that the affected computer 'may have adware/spyware virus' and prompting the computer user to call 855-972-3537 'for assistance on how to remove potential viruses.' The call is toll-free, but, calling 855-972-3537' the computer user will be requested to pay a fee to get the called technical support. The appearance of the '855-972-3537' pop-up may mean that your machine is really infected, but not with what the '855-972-3537' pop-up alleges. Therefore, computer users should not call the provided number and, instead, run a full scan on their systems to identify and remove the threat that is causing the appearance of the '855-972-3537' pop-up on their machines.
