'You Have 48 Hours to Pay The Fine' Ransomware is an online scam labeled as ransomware, which is spread to vulnerable PCs by a Trojan. The 'You Have 48 Hours to Pay The Fine' Ransomware covers the screen of the affected computer with a fake warning message supposedly sent by the police in an attempt to dupe attacked PC users into thinking they have committed a cybercrime. A bogus pop-up alert used by the 'You Have 48 Hours to Pay The Fine' Ransomware states that your PC has been locked because you were downloading and watching copyrighted content, software, audio and video, visiting malicious websites and sending spam email messages to other computer users. The misleading notification of the 'You Have 48 Hours to Pay The Fine' Ransomware is generated and delivered by a ransomware Trojan, which blocks your computer.
