Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen is a Windows platform worm that was created with an IRC-based backdoor functionality. Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen is usually distributed via MSN Messenger. Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen may use a backdoor to download additional parasites, steal sensitive information or send infected messages to a victim's MSN Messenger contacts. Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen will also give a remote attacker access and control over a victims computer. The manual removal of Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen may prove difficult to achieve.
