EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.

Worm.Msblast.E is a damaging worm program that can infect computers through networks or Internet. Worm.Msblast.E exploits many identified Windows vulnerabilities which are actually easily patched, but many computer systems do not have the required patch installed. Worm.Msblast.E also blocks connection to the Internet in order to download the required patch. Once the computer is corrupted, Worm.Msblast.E will start a Denial of Service attack (DoS attack), which makes it much more complicated to download the required patches, making it easy for the Worm.Msblast.E to corrupt as many different computers as possible before being disabled. Worm.Msblast.E raises system instability, such as unauthorized modifications to their Control Panel, out of memory errors and Windows Blue screens.
