Win32.worm.lovgate

Win32.worm.lovgate is a computer worm that can spread via network shares, e-mail and file-sharing networks. Once inside a computer, Win32.worm.lovgate will create a start-up registry entry, copy itself to the Windows system folder and drop other harmful files. Then Win32.worm.lovgate will give an attacker remote access to the machine. Win32.worm.lovgate will also overwrite exe files on the system with copies of itself. Remove this worm from your system promptly after detection.
