Win32/Snowflake.A is a hazardous worm that penetrates into the compromised PC system through malicious spam email attachments. Once opened, Win32/Snowflake.A installs itself onto your PC system and looks for contact lists in email programs. When Win32/Snowflake.A finds contacts, it replicates itself and proliferates to everyone on your list. Win32/Snowflake.A will change your desktop to a snowflake picture with the words 'Snowflake on the desktop'. The main aim of Win32/Snowflake.A is to download advertising applications, which earn money for attackers. Win32/Snowflake.A will also show pop-up ads and lead to browser diversions. Remove Win32/Snowflake.A immediately after detection.
