Win32/Alureon.FO is a rootkit Trojan that causes data stealing and unwanted traffic redirects. Win32/Alureon.FO is hard to find and uninstall from the infected computer system. Win32/Alureon.FO can drop and execute malicious files and hijack the web browser to reroute web users to doubtful websites and report the affected PC user’s queries performed with renowned search systems. Win32/Alureon.FO permits cybercriminals to intercept incoming and outgoing Internet traffic in order to collect confidential information such as user names, passwords and credit card details. Win32/Alureon.DGE may also permit attackers to forward corrupted data to the targeted PC. Win32/Alureon.DGE may change DNS settings on the host computer to enable cybercriminals perform harmful activities.
