W32.Ramnit.D!inf Description
W32.Ramnit.D!inf is a worm that distributes another worm named W32.Ramnit.B on to the compromised PC. W32.Ramnit.D!inf proliferates by copying itself onto removable drives. W32.Ramnit.D!inf creates an autorun.inf file in the root of each drive inserted into the affected PC; once a removable drive is inserted into a corrupted machine, W32.Ramnit.D!inf will run automatically. W32.Ramnit.D!inf may deteriorate the performance of a PC and corrupt system files.
