VirusCleaner is a fake anti-Spyware application that promises to remove threats from your computer but in reality is not going to remove any spyware but might actually expose you to more security threats. VirusCleaner tries to trick the user into purchasing the full version of the program by the intentional use of false positives, as well as through false pop-ups and “system alerts”, claiming that your PC is infected with dangerous parasites. VirusCleaner may also download and install extra spyware programs and Trojans and it can be a serious threat to the security of your sensitive data.

Type: Trojans
