TROJ_PIDIEF.JXM is a Trojan that is included in a malware attack using exploit kits, specifcally Java and PDF exploits, to distribute file infectors onto compromised PCs in the United States. TROJ_PIDIEF.JXM can access a targeted PC as a malevolent PDF file downloaded by other malware infections or as a file downloaded unknowingly by computer users when visiting infected websites. If TROJ_PIDIEF.JXM takes over the installed applications successfully, this leads to the execution of an injected JavaScript code. This script connects to the particular remote web addresses to possibly drop other malevolent files.
