Troj/PDFJS-ADE is a Trojan that is included in a spam malware attack related to a new Pope. Troj/PDFJS-ADE proliferates via spam emails that masquerade as be breaking news stories from CNN and BBC. The bogus email encompasses a breaking news notification from CNN, which concentrates on arresting news stories about the new Pope. The subject of an unsolicited emails can be either 'Opinion: New Pope Sued For Not Wearing Seat Belt In Popemobile ... - CNN.com' or 'Opinion: New Pope, Vatican officials sued over alleged sexual abuse! ... - CNN.com'. The spam email messages that deliver Troj/PDFJS-ADE seduces target PC users into clicking on the web-links inserted into the alert. If a target PC user clicks on the web-links of any of fraudulent emails, he/she is directed to websites that incorporate an obfuscated code that attempts to take over computers using the Blackhole exploit kit. The PDF Blackhole component used in this malware campaign is recognized as Troj/PDFJS-ADE.
