Troj/JSRedir-IA Description

Troj/JSRedir-IA is a Trojan that is spread via the spam emails connected with the London Summer 2012 Olympics. The spam email carries a fictitious Youtube video on the US women’s gymnastics scandal. The phony email has a subject line ‘Huge scandal with the USA Women’s Gymnastics Team on the 2012 London Olympics’ made to seduce sports fans into opening the messages. The fake email also carries a web link which, if clicked by the computer users, instead of the legitimate YouTube website, takes them to an identical website that runs numerous JavaScript codes, and encourages PC users to download and install an Adobe Flash plugin for playing the content. If the PC user downloads and installs the falsified Adobe Flash plugin, their computers are corrupted by Troj/JSRedir-IA.
