Trojan:Win32/Tobfy!mp3 is a ransomware Trojan that spreads via a harmful audio file (MP3) carrying a false FBI alert that declares your computer is locked because you have violated certain federal laws. Trojan:Win32/Tobfy!mp3 is supposedly sent by an official security authority and displays a full screen window including a warning message, which covers all other windows on your PC and does not allow the victim using it. Trojan:Win32/Tobfy!mp3 blocks the victimized PC and asks computer users to pay a fine via Ukash, Paysafecard, Green Dot MoneyPak and Ultimate Game Card to unlock the computer. If your computer has been affected by a specific malevolent file, this show that your machine has been also infected with other ransomware threats.
