Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V is a Trojan that propagates as a dynamic-link library (DLL) file. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V blocks the screen of the compromised PC and asks a victim to pay a supposed fine to restore access to the computer system. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V drops a DLL file that functions as a lock screen. The warning message of Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V in the lock screen is used based on the location. The compressed DLL is stored in a container file. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V can show the lock screen alert with or without Internet access. While being installed, Trojan:Win32/Reveton.V makes system modifications by dropping infected files.
