Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.qgje is a variation of a Zbot Trojan that encompasses spyware functionalities. Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.qgje is included in the spam malware attack associated with Pinterest. Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.qgje propagates via the malicious spam Pinterest 'Don't forget to confirm your email!' themed emails that serve client-side exploits and a malware infection, particularly Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.qgje. The unsolicited Pinterest email message aims to fool affected Pinterest users into believing that they have received an email confirmation request. In truth, when the computer user clicks on the web-links inserted into the fake email, he is automatically exposed to client-side exploits, with the attack distributing a malware infection, found as Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.qgje on the attacked hosts when a successful client-side exploitation happens.
