Trojan-Spy.MSIL.Popclik.A is a hazardous Trojan which propagates via doubtful websites such as Vkernel.org that provide fictitious browser upgrades. Fake browser upgrades are being used for delivering malicious security applications and diverting Internet users onto survey websites. Vkernel.org specifically attempts to trick Firefox users into downloading a false web browser upgrade. The bogus browser update alert bears the logo of the Mozilla Firefox. Malware threats associated with the falsified browser upgrade alert scans the computer user's PC system and shows the same web pages as counterfeit anti-virus websites. However, websites such as vkernel.org, stocknick.org, smolvell.org and aveonix.org can't identify the web browser a computer owner uses and introduce the pseudo update alert linked to Chrome/Firefox. These websites incite the web user to download and install an executable file that is found as Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT. When Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT is installed, new tabs or windows pop up within the browser, which reroute the computer user onto various survey websites. The PC user who runs the executable file initiates the download and installation of the software application called 'Driver' that opens a certain 'Driver' folder where it incorporates 2 system files 'app.exe' and 'uninstall.exe'. The app.exe is found as Trojan-Spy.MSIL.Popclik.A. In order to protect your computer from damage, get rid of Trojan-Spy.MSIL.Popclik.A as early as possible.
