Trojan-PSW.Win32.Fareit.pjt is a Trojan that is included in a spam malware attack associated with news of Spain train tragedy. The spam email related to the deadly train derailment in Spain promises news updates about the tragedy but, in reality, leads victimized recipients to malicious websites. The link in the unsolicited email takes to a legitimate hijacked website, which attempts to load one or more scripts. The victimized recipient is then rerouted to a landing page that may be a compromised GoDaddy web address. The malware attack attracts affected PC users with an imaginary video clip of the tragedy. The infected computer may get contaminated with Trojan-PSW.Win32.Fareit.pjt, a password-stealing Trojan. Trojan-PSW.Win32.Fareit.pjt looks for FTP client credentials, browser cookies and email passwords.
