Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C is a JavaScript Trojan that aims at rerouting the hijacked web browser to dubious or infected websites. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C invades a targeted PC by using security holes of operating system or security flaws on an Internet browser. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C may occur in the Temporary Internet Files folder. It is recommended to delete the temporary Internet files to prevent the repeated detection of Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C from within the Temporary Internet Files folder. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C may urge the victimized Internet browser to open a website to the certain URL . If a computer user visits a website, which encompasses Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C, the web browser may be redirected to the certain web address. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C can propagate when activating links within IFrames while viewing web content on harmful websites. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C may be distributed via websites compromised through SQL Injection attacks or through Blackhat search engine optimization (SEO) corruption. Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.C may also be initiated if the website, which carries the malicious script is stored in the cache of the affected Internet browser.
