Trojan:JS/IframeRef.I is a Trojan that is distributed as a malicious JavaScript file that is inserted, via an iFrame, into infected or hacked websites. The goal of the file is to divert the hacked Internet browser to other infectious websites that may distribute other malware infections onto the compromised PC, often by exploiting software vulnerabilities. Trojan:JS/IframeRef.I makes the links active within iFrames while viewing web content on modified websites. To evade the detection of security tools, the iFrame's size may be only one pixel. When a computer visits a website that incorporates Trojan:JS/IframeRef.I, the web browser is rerouted to another website that may distribute other malware threats onto the infected computer system. Trojan:JS/IframeRef.I can block anti-virus software from normal working.
