Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Dapato.bcbf
Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Dapato.bcbf is a Trojan that is a component of a spam email attack associated with USPS. Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Dapato.bcbf is distributed via bogus United States Postal Service (USPS) spam emails. A subject line of a malicious USPS email is 'Postal label contains detailed information'. The fake USPS email announces the recipient about an issue that emerged in handing over a package so he should open an attachment containing a file called 'Label_Parcel_ID2564US.zip', which apparently gives the shipping code, necessary to fix the problem. If the attached file is opened and viewed by the computer user, it will the PC is affected with a malware infection, identified as Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Dapato.bcbf. A minimum of one spam email sample wrongly spells 'couldn't' as 'couldnt' in connection with the message of non-delivery of parcel.
