Trojan.Bicol
Trojan.Bicol is a Trojan that changes the hosts file on the compromised PC in order to reroute the victims to infected websites.
Trojan.Bicol proliferates through a hijacked website or third party application. While Trojan.Bicol is run, it makes changes to the particular file on the victimized computer. Trojan.Bicol alters the hosts file on the infected computer system so that when PC users request a certain website they are rerouted to the infected website in order to execute a phishing attack. Trojan.Bicol may also drop other malware infections from hacked websites.
