Trojan.Activehijack Description
Trojan.Activehijack is a mischievous Trojan infection that exploits a known vulnerability in Microsoft Office. Trojan.Activehijack spreads via a fake email attachment that contains a file named ‘report.zip’. If the content of the .zip file is extracted and the .doc file is run, it exploits a known vulnerability in Microsoft Office and runs the .dll file. Trojan.Activehijack then deletes the .dll file and creates the corrupt file. To protect your computer from harm, uninstall Trojan.Activehijack as soon as possible.
