Time-delta.xyz tries to trick visitors by showing them deceptive messages. The rogue page operates in the typical manner of any other website propagating this popular browser-based tactic. By showing fake scenarios, Time-delta.xyz lures users into unknowingly subscribing to its push notifications. The goal of the site's operators is to then earn revenue by delivering unwanted and intrusive advertisements to the victim's system, thanks to the obtained browser permissions.
Time-delta.xyz has been observed to pretend that its visitors must pass a CAPTCHA check. To create this impression, the site shows an image of a robot accompanied by the following message:
'CLICK ALLOW TO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE NOT A ROBOT!'
