TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup

Security researchers have received reports of computer users affected with the 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' message when accessing Windows. The 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' message will appear on an affected computer when Windows starts up. The presence of the 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' message during start-up usually indicates that the affected machine is plagued with a Potentially Unwanted Program in the Conduit.com family of browser hijackers. Specifically, the 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' message indicates a problem with the 'TBVerifier.dll file, which is part of a PUP known as Conduit Toolbar Verifier. Conduit, responsible for the infamous Conduit Search Engine, is well known for creating numerous PUPs that may cause problems on affected computers, usually forcing computer users to visit this low quality search engine repeatedly.

PUPs Linked to the 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' Message

Most PUPs associated with the Conduit search engine take the form of Web browser toolbars that may cause a variety of unwanted symptoms on affected computers. Unfortunately, these types of Web browser toolbars are often poorly designed and may conflict with Windows, other software on the affected computer or with the computer user's specific settings. The 'TBVerifier.dll Error on Startup' message specifically appears on computers where a toolbar in the Conduit family has been installed but cannot be accessed.
