Startnow.com is a new Google search redirection virus and web browser hijacker that will take over your search engine and reroute to criminal websites. Startnow.com may corrupt computer systems via malicious file-sharing programs, multimedia downloads, or through unsolicited spam emails. The makers of these tools involve additional code that spreads the ads, which can be viewed through pop-up windows or through a bar that occurs on a computer desktop and sometimes through text links or in search results. It’s recommended to remove Startnow.com from your machine immediately after its detection.
