Smitfraud-c.gp is a Trojan which usually comes bundled with numerous other malware threats. Smitfraud-c.gp is distributed via infected video codecs or corrupt multimedia files, without the targeted PC user's permission and knowledge. Smitfraud-c.gp infects Windows system dll files and changes the desktop background wallpaper with Blue Screen of Death and displays annoying pop-up alerts that are hard to block. Smitfraud-c.gp installs onto affected computer's memory and executes at every system start-up. Remove Smitfraud-c.gp before it harms your PC.
