Sefbov.E

Sefbov.E is a proxy Trojan infection that acts through proxy server of a PC system. The trick implemented by Sefbov.E is that the captured proxy allows the hacker to act in the name of third-party thus disguising actual identity of computers from which the scam comes. Sefbov.E might readily use the captured proxy to further attack a certain machine in hope to gain confidential data from it. Sefbov.E installs an email proxy which is then used to send numerous unwanted emails, such as spam, through the infected computer user's Internet connection. Recipients tracking the email back to its origin will clarify the IP address of the corrupted machine used for the proxy, thereby disguising the identity of the hacker.
