RevenueHits is an advertisement platform that is used to generate advertisement revenue. RevenueHits is often associated with a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on the affected Web browser. There are several problems with RevenueHits, not including the many different types of advertisements that RevenueHits displays on the affected computer. Although many computer users consider RevenueHits as threat, it is important to note that RevenueHits is not harmful. However, this does not mean that RevenueHits does not cause behaviors that are almost just as irritating or problematic. RevenueHits advertisements may be intrusive and prevent computer users from using the affected computer normally. In most cases, RevenueHits advertisements appear on the affected computer after the computer user downloads a low-quality freeware toolbar from a badly regulated software download websites.
